Campus Alumni Advisory Boards
The Campus Alumni Advisory Boards are designed to bring together representatives from alumni clubs, constituent alumni associations, and other members of the Alumni Association under one umbrella advisory board on each campus, thus allowing all groups better representation to and from the UIAA Board of Directors. Each Alumni Advisory Board will determine number of members to include, with ten as the minimum number. The purpose of the Alumni Advisory Board is to:
- Establish one comprehensive alumni advisory group on each campus.
- Nominate representatives to the UIAA Board of Directors.
- Nominate members to Board Committees.
- Become a feeder group to Board and maintain their own campus responsibilities.
- Set up operating guidelines, consistent with the UIAA By-laws.
- Create their own subcommittees.
- Represent long-term interests of the University.
- Provide ambassadorship. Be an advocate, be a conduit to reach alumni to provide a linkage and connection back to campus.
- Provide recognition to alumni who serve their University and community.
