Judy Ikenberry's 'A Sense
of Place' artwork now showing at Alumni Center
Visit the Alice Campbell Alumni Center to view the artwork of Judy Ikenberry, wife of former UI President Stan Ikenberry.
Judy's display of paintings, titled a "A Sense of Place," capture the
essence and feeling the artist felt while visiting various spots all over the
world, from Altgeld Hall on the Illinois campus to a cozy house in Provence.
All proceeds from the sales of Judy's paintings go toward the Judith Life Ikenberry
Fine Arts scholarship fund. For more information or to purchase a painting, contact

Casa Cultural Latina’s 35th Anniversary Weekend
A 35th Anniversary Celebration is scheduled for September 21-27, 2009. Various
events will take place during the week, culminating in a weekend alumni reunion,
September 25-27. 
Life remembered: John Cribbet a pioneer at the U of
I
John Cribbet, former dean of the University of Illinois College of Law and former
UI chancellor, died May 23 following a long illness. 
New UIAA Board Members
Six alumni from the University of Illinois joined the Board of Directors of the
University of Illinois Alumni Association at its May meeting in Urbana. The Association
is the largest alumni organization in the United States, with more than 650,000
living alumni from all three campuses of the University -- Urbana, Chicago and

Alumni Center closed on weekends during summer
The Alice Campbell Alumni Center will be closed on Saturday and Sunday during
the summer. Weekend hours will resume at the start of the fall semester. To book
