Dear Alumni and Friends,
On behalf of the University of Illinois Alumni Association, I cordially invite you to join the 97th Homecoming Weekend at the Urbana-Champaign campus on Oct. 26-28.
If it’s been awhile since you’ve returned to campus, you will be excited to see many changes yet pleased that so much remains the same. You’ll recognize the traditional buildings where you went to class, notice new ones that are “smarter and greener” and be able to spend time again with friends on the beloved Quad. While Illinois is ever moving forward, a constant is its commitment to excellence in education, research and public service, continuing to ensure that UI students get a world-class education.
The Alumni Association extends a special invitation for you to visit us at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center. We are conveniently located at 601 S. Lincoln Ave., at the corner of Illinois Street and Lincoln Avenue. We’ll be holding open houses two hours before the Homecoming parade on Friday, throughout Saturday and on Sunday morning.
In addition, we’ll host the biggest party in town after the Illinois-Ball State football game. Enjoy entertainment, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar as you connect with old friends and reminisce about your days on campus. At this post-game reception, the Class of 1957 will be celebrating its 50-Year Reunion, and we’ll recognize some very special alumni for their spirit, loyalty and achievement.
Get Orange Fever, and join us for the time of your life!
