Created for students and by students, the inaugural GradWeek
2008 celebrates the accomplishments of May graduates in an economical, alcohol-free
way. GradWeek is sponsored by the University of Illinois Alumni Association and
Student Alumni Ambassadors, in partnership with other campus organizations.

2008
is a chance for graduating students and their families to enjoy a fun atmosphere
of music, free food and great prizes. The first 500 graduates in attendance will
receive a free USB thumb drive!
Time: Noon-3 p.m.

Comedy Central comedian Michael Kosta
April 28 – Comedy Central comedian Michael
Kosta ’02 LAS will talk about his career accomplishments and relate
how his UI degree helped him along the way.

on the Quad
April 29 – Enjoy a relaxing evening on the Quad watching
the classic comedy Ferris
Bueller’s Day Off, co-sponsored by Panhellenic
Council and Interfraternity Council.
Bring a blanket, a friend and enjoy free popcorn.

Concert by Mike & Joe
April 30 – Concert by Mike & Joe to
benefit the General Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to
students.
Time: 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.)
Location: Foellinger Auditorium
Cost: $3 in advance/$5 at the door. Purchase

Reading
Day Pizza Break
May 1 – Let off some steam at the Reading Day Pizza Break
with Student Alumni Ambassadors and your college’s council and ambassador
program. Study or hang out with friends and enjoy free pizza and pop!
