Capital Scholars couple
Melanie ’05 las, ’05 cbm and Phillip Reinhardt ’05 las were part of the first class of 116 freshmen Capital Scholars at UIS in 2001. Now the two are married with a young daughter. They shared their story as a way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of UIS.

Through the Decades: UIS Past, Present and Future
Gather with fellow students, parents, alumni and faculty/staff on Saturday, Oct. 9, to celebrate University of Illinois Springfield’s 40th anniversary, along with Homecoming and Parents’ Weekend. The lunch buffet begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program at 12:15 p.m.
