April 12 - Introduction to Facebook

At this Facebook tutorial, learn how to create an account, how to reach out to friends and family on the site and about privacy settings.

April 16 - Being Safe Online

Though the Internet is a wonderful resource, it can also be intimidating, even scary to those who aren't familiar with it. In this session, you'll learn how to protect yourself while shopping online, opening e-mails and more.

April 19 - Getting to Know the iPhone and iPod Touch

This workshop walks you through the basics of using an iPhone and iPod Touch. You'll learn about making Web clips, downloading applications and other tips and tricks.

April 23 - Google Docs: A Free Tool for Creating and Sharing File

Google Docs is a free resource that allows you to create and share documents online. You don't have to purchase software, share files through e-mail attachments or carry your files on a flash drive. Logging on to Google Docs is easy to do, as is creating, editing and changing your files. This is a perfect tool for writing letters, composing newsletters, creating flyers and more.

April 30 - Shoot It, Keep It or Erase It? Photography in the Digital Age

Though digital cameras are lightweight and easy to use, you may not be getting the results you seek. Learn the secrets of using a digital camera and tips on capturing the best image possible from photographer Dick Adorjan '88 CBM. Preservation and storage will also be discussed. Be sure to bring your camera.
