A total of 527 students were recently named to the UIS Dean’s List for the 2011 fall semester. To qualify, undergraduate students must take at least eight graded hours and maintain a grade point average of at least 3.75 for the semester. View the list

Softball squad ranked No. 7 in preseason
The UIS softball team was picked to finish in seventh place in the West Division in the Great Lakes Valley Conference preseason coaches’ poll. Missouri-St. Louis was picked to finish first.
