Our Activities

Members of Student Alumni Ambassadors have the opportunity to network with various alumni, staff, faculty and students by acting as greeters and hosts at various University of Illinois Alumni Association events. Some of the major events include:

• Alumni Five dinner and awards ceremony
• UIAA Leadership Awards ceremony and brunch
• Lighting of the Flame ceremonies
• UIAA board meetings

Members are also able to plan and play a role in increasing school pride at UIC. Major activities of SAA include:

• Spirit Week
• Production of “UIC Daily” planner book
• Grad Finale
• New-student orientation marketplace
• Fun Fair
• New-student convocation
