Eric Leafblad ’91 LAS
College of LAS
Eric Leafblad has worked as an assistant state’s attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office for 16 years and has been with the Gang Crimes Unit since 2004. He prosecutes gang-related homicides, gun crimes and cases where police officers are victims of violent crimes. Leafblad is an adjunct lecturer for the University of Illinois at Chicago and teaches criminal in the Department of Criminology, Law and Justice. In addition, he serves on the faculty for the National District Attorneys Association.
