Activities Honorary Society
The Activities Honorary Society was founded in 1950 at Navy Pier to honor outstanding students who had significant involvement in three or more student organizations during their undergraduate years. This is one of only two traditions that survive from the days when the undergraduate division of the University of Illinois was housed at Chicago’s Navy Pier, from 1945 to 1965.
On June 6, 2010, all Navy Pier attendees and members of the Activities Honorary Society are invited to watch the Class of 2010 induction ceremony and celebrate the history of this tradition. During the event, as part of the Navy Pier Heritage Project, the inaugural “Pier Scholars” scholarships will be awarded to deserving UIC students.

We want to take these pictures and create a photo memory book for AHS alumni
to sign at the ceremony. Pictures can be scanned and attached to an e-mail or
mailed to our office. Please do not send original photos. We look forward to
seeing your pictures!
