IDEA Commons quite the hot spot
Since
it opened in November, the Daley Library’s IDEA Commons has become a popular
place for studying and campus events. The library’s first-floor study/meeting
space is open around the clock and offers a performance space, study rooms and
more.

A celebration of distinguished alumni at UIC
The
UIAA Alumni Five reception, dinner and awards ceremony honors UIC alumni and
friends who have given back to the University of Illinois and the Chicago community.
The 2011 ceremony took place Oct. 14 at Student Center East.

Husidic
signs with Swedish team
Former UIC soccer standout Baggio Husidic recently
joined Swedish second-flight side Hammarby. The 24-year-old Bosnian-American
made 50 appearances in three seasons with the Chicago Fire.
