As a Student Member of the University of Illinois Alumni Association, and also as a new graduate, you have lots of stuff to take care of. The UIAA offers the following insurance benefits and a way to keep in touch with your favorite campus.

Insurance
Established in 1973, the University of Illinois group insurance program is now one of the largest alumni plans in the country. Alumni Association members are eligible to apply for affordable plans including:

• Short-term major medical insurance to cover you between the time your student insurance expires and the time your health care coverage begins at your new job
• Automobile or renter’s insurance at favorable UIAA Group Savings Plus rates
• Accident insurance

As a current student and later on as an alumnus or alumna of the University, you may want to keep track of what’s happening on the Illinois campus. The I-N-I student newsletter and @Illinois alumni newsletter allow you to do this. Both are free and arrive in your email in-box each month. While you’re enrolled as a student, you’ll automatically receive the I-N-I newsletter during your college career and several months after you graduate. We invite you to subscribe to @Illinois.
