Alumni Awards Dinner

The University of Illinois Alumni Awards are presented annually during Commencement Weekend and honor alumni for distinguished service, humanitarianism and professional achievement. These awards are presented by the University of Illinois Alumni Association.

2012 Recipients

Alumni Achievement Award
Shahid Khan ’71 ENG is honored for his world-class entrepreneurial acumen and the visionary philanthropy which has created professorships, buildings and numerous research pathways on the University of Illinois campus.

Bradley Oltmanns ’79 BUS is honored for his contributions to PricewaterhouseCoopers, the world’s leading professional services network for assurance, tax and advisory needs.

Alumni Humanitarian Award
A. Mark Neuman ’85 LAS is honored for his outstanding contributions to the promotion of international trade and investment in Africa, where his work has proved instrumental in lifting many people out of poverty.

Distinguished Service Award
Paul Koch ’66 ENG, MS ’68 ENG, is honored for his exemplary commitment to the students, faculty and alumni of the University of Illinois. Koch has generously shared his time and expertise with his Alma Mater throughout his career.
