Alumni Awards Dinner

The University of Illinois Alumni Awards are presented annually during Commencement Weekend and honor alumni for distinguished service, humanitarianism and professional achievement. These awards are presented by the University of Illinois Alumni Association.

2011 Recipients

Alumni Achievement Award
Dr. Scott W. Atlas ’77 LAS is honored for his leadership in health care education, research and policy.

Dr. Fu-Kuen Lin, PHD ’71 ACES, is honored for his seminal achievements in biotechnology.

Brenton Wadsworth ’52 FAA is honored for his pioneering contributions to the golf course construction industry.

Alumni Humanitarian Award
Ann Cody ’86 FAA, MS ’92 AHS, is honored for her international leadership as an advocate for people with disabilities, women’s rights and equal opportunities in sports.

Distinguished Service Award
Lester McKeever ’55 BUS is honored for his exemplary service as a leadership volunteer at the highest levels of the University of Illinois.
