Ten years after meeting each other over a game of Trivial Pursuit at Allen Hall in 1997, Sean Willis ’99 ENG and Sarah Ibis ’99 LAS, at right, became engaged at Carle Park in Urbana. Though Sean disputes who won the contest of wits, Sarah – who remembers the evening perfectly, of course – claims she was the Trivial Pursuit victor. 

 

The couple’s wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Swedish American Museum Center in Chicago, where many old chums from the U of I will be present.

 

“Those friendships have lasted a long time,” said Sarah. “The friends you make at the University of Illinois are friends for life.”
