This trekking and safari adventure
is EXPLORERS’ first-ever ascent
of Africa’s highest peak.
In the company of professional mountain
guides and porters, adventurers
will ascend the remote Rongai route
on the northern side of the mountain,
beginning near the Kenyan border.
While no technical climbing or mountaineering
experience is required, participants
should be in good physical condition
and be able to hike long distances
for multiple days in a row. A weeklong
adventure of stunning African wildlife
and cultural safaris with experienced
guides and drivers follows the Kilimanjaro
climb.
