Illinois professor wins Grammy University
of Illinois Professor of Voice and UIAA board member Nathan
Gunn ’94 FAA has won yet another Grammy. The announcement was made during the 52nd annual Grammy
Award presentation ceremony. Benjamin Britten’s “Billy Budd” has
become Gunn’s signature role.

UI cyclists going the extra mile for cancer
Imagine approximately two dozen students pedaling away on stationary bikes, envisioning
a 4,500-mile ride from New York City to San Francisco and vying for the longest
charity bike ride in the nation. The Illini
4000 are attempting the feat in an effort to raise money and awareness for
cancer. The trek begins May 24.
