Getting to the Promised Land
Ed
Jackson Jr. ’73 faa, executive architect of the Martin Luther King Jr.
Memorial, believes he has kept his promise – to create a fitting tribute
to the slain civil rights leader. It took more than a decade managing the King
memorial project from the first glimmerings of an idea to its final completion,
but Jackson’s dream has been realized through hard work, lots of help and
a collaborative attitude.
