By participating in the Alumni Volunteer Network, you have the opportunity to:

How to participate
Alumni volunteers can participate in any of these eight programs:

Phone a Student
Contact new students early in their first semester to check in and welcome them as future alumni.

Freshman and Transfer Preview Days
Join a panel of current students, faculty, staff and alumni to answer questions about the UIC experience.

Move-in Crew
Meet new students and their families as you help students move into the residence halls.

• Wednesday, Aug. 22, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Dinner with an Old Flame
Facilitate a discussion over dinner with a group of students interested in your career path.

How I Became a …
Share your experiences at UIC and explain how they have played a role in your chosen field.

New Student and Parent Orientation
Connect with new students and their parents as you share words of wisdom about UIC.

Community Service
Join other UIC alumni for a day or night of volunteering in various communities.

Corporate Connections
