Dinner with an Old "Flame" is a wonderful new opportunity sponsored by the Student Alumni League to bring together current UIC students and UIC alumni to build relationships for life. Students and alumni will be able to interact on a more personal and intimate level in an atmosphere tailored to the alumni host's specifications. Put quite simply, it's an evening for conversation centered on food, fun, and their basic connection — UIC.

Local alumni will host dinners either in their homes or at local restaurants easily accessible to students. Alumni who don't live in the area can still participate and serve as co-hosts. Dinners are left to the discretion of the alumni hosts; ideas can range from cook-outs to buffets to catered meals. At the end of the evening, however, it won't matter what food was on the table, but rather the friendships and relationships that were made around it.
