The University of Illinois Alumni Association recognizes international alumni who wish to stay connected with their Alma Mater. We value your loyalty and enthusiasm, and salute your efforts. Although you are a far distance from the University of Illinois at Chicago campus, we want to help you stay connected to the UIC family and look forward to strengthening our relationship with you.

How to get involved
We encourage you to network with fellow alumni and interact with visiting alumni, faculty, administrators and students. International alumni groups can be active in a number of ways:

• Identify an individual to serve as the liaison between the UIAA and local alumni.

• Select an individual willing to serve as the contact for the international alumni group.

• Provide lists of names, addresses and e-mails of alumni to the UIAA to ensure that official UI records are accurate.

• Inform the UIAA of achievements and honors international alumni may receive.

• Nominate international alumni for UIAA awards.

• Serve as contacts or hosts for visiting alumni, faculty and/or students.
