Alumni Awards Each year the University of Illinois Alumni Association has the honor of recognizing several alumni and friends for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the University of Illinois at Chicago. We are pleased to announce the names of the 2008 Alumni Award Recipients, many of whom will be recognized at the Oct. 24 Alumni Five Awards Dinner.

What do you remember about the Circle? Submit your memories, a thank you or comments here. Entries will be posted on the UIAA website in the Virtual Memory Book and will run through the fall of 2007. The Chicago Circle committee is developing a display in one of the lounges in the student union to celebrate the creation and early life of the “Circle” campus. The unveiling of this new display will take place in the Circle Lounge of the Student Center East building (formerly Chicago Circle Center) on the UIC campus this fall.
