Use for a resume/cover letter critique, interview practice, job search strategy, on-the-job success discussion or career management discussion. Professional Development Workshops, Tele-workshops, Panels
$30 UIAA Members; $45 Nonmembers

Topics cover basic and advanced job search strategies and a broad variety of career management issues, such as networking strategy, the interview process, transferable skills, career decision-making and onboarding. Workshops are held at the downtown Chicago UIAA Alumni Career Center and via telephone every month. Free programs, including alumni and employer panel discussions, are held at least three times a year.

The Lou Liay Career Library at the UIAA Alumni Career Center
All UIAA members are welcome to utilize resources on site: job search and career management publications and books, and computers with Internet access. During business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, visit our office to find leads in the Job Bank and to conduct research on companies, occupations or career fields.
