Did you know 1,200 interns participate each year in various internship programs throughout the Smithsonian? As the summer internship season begins, the Smithsonian shared the behind-the-scenes experiences, tips and advice from three interns.
Jess Park, a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign alum who recently interned as an interpretive guide at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, offers advice on how to pursue a career in the arts. They’ve compiled her advice, along with two others, into a release that is a useful tool for students and recent graduates.

Our thanks to the Smithsonian for sharing this press release.
