For Employers- Using Twitter For Recruiting Tip (3 of 3)

Using Twitter can become overwhelming and can result in a recruiter spending more time than desired on it. Toby and Michele recommend the follow tools and techniques to manage twitter more effectively:

• Designate a specific amount of time per day to tweet jobs, read or respond to your messages and send out announcements
• Use “search operators” to search more effectively. Consider downloading the “Power Twitter add-on” in Mozilla Firefox’s browser to conduct searches quicker and easier
• Create lists to help with tracking. A list can include companies, identified candidates, industries, etc.
• Tools such as tweetdeck.com, hootsuite.com and gremln.com can assist in managing and organizing your search activities, as well as pre-scheduling your announcements
