Writing your professional mission statement can help you clarify your best targets for work satisfaction, whether you’re a new or recent graduate, a professional with extensive experience, or at any point in between. This visionary statement can help you launch a career, get back on track if you’ve been wondering why your work is not fulfilling, or identify a new direction. It will also help you benchmark your actions. We will introduce the components of a professional mission statement and move through exercises so you leave this webinar with a draft of your statement and ideas about how you will use it in your career planning for 2012, and beyond.

This program includes presentation and questions. There is no fee for University of Illinois alumni; the fee for University of Illinois non-alumni guests is $45. All pay the cost of the phone call – a standard long distance charge. You can avoid the cost of a phone call by using your computer speakers and microphone to participate in the program (all access instructions will be provided the day before the program).
