40th Anniversary Homecoming Lunch ~ Through the Decades: UIS Past, Present and Future

Enjoy meeting and greeting fellow alumni, parents of UIS current students, retired and current faculty and staff as we join in celebrating 40 years during UIS Homecoming and Parent's weekend. The lunch buffet will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the program "Through the Decades: UIS-Past, Present and Future" will begin at 12:15.
Enjoy a video that will celebrate 40 years, followed by a panel discussion moderated by faculty emeritus Dr. Cullom Davis, History. The panel will include Thom Serafin of Chicago, '73 Communications, MA '93 PAR, Chair of the Campus Alumni Advisory Board; Mary Bohlen,MA'78 PAR Communications Professor; Gabrielle Wiegand of Decatur, '05 Political Studies MA 08 Political Studies, ( first class of four year students) and Charles Olivier '11, current UIS student representative on the UI Board of Trustees. They will reflect on the legacy of the university and its impact on current and future students, faculty and staff.
