Urbana Recreation Opportunities
You'll search far and wide to find
a health club or fitness center
comparable to the recreational facilities
on the Urbana-Champaign campus.
Daily Passes
- Campus Rec members, UI students,
affiliates and Alumni Association
members may purchase daily guest
passes for themselves and up to
five guests at $7/day per person
for use at the Intramural-Physical
Education (IMPE) Building.
Equipment
Rental - Alumni Association
members may also rent outdoor equipment
such as tents, backpacks, camping
and other sporting gear—at
a discount—through the Campus
Recreation Outdoor Center (C-ROC).
Recreational
Trips - The Division of Campus
Recreation (DCR) also organizes
low-cost recreational trips for
students, faculty and staff members.
Alumni Association members are welcome
to participate, for a fee, on a
space-available basis.
DCR Membership
- A limited number of annual memberships
are available for DCR facilities,
including IMPE, C-ROC, the Ice Arena
and Huff Hall, Freer Hall and Kenney
Gym.
These annual memberships are available
for the August-to-August academic
year. Alumni Association members
who purchase annual memberships
are eligible to rent outdoor equipment
and participate in recreational
trips at the same price offered
to students and faculty-staff members.
