Bar Packages
Thank you for considering the Alice Campbell Alumni Center for your event!The Alice Campbell Alumni Center will provide a bar for your event of up to 100 guests. If your event is larger than 100 guests, please contact a caterer on the University of Illinois-approved caterer list. We offer different bar packages to fit your event and group. We can special order beer, wine and liquor. Please let us know if you have any special requests.
Bartender
The bar must be staffed by a University of Illinois Alumni Association bartender. Our bartenders are professional and courteous.
Bartender rates and staffing:
- $16 per hour for each bartender
- One bartender for up to 50 guests
- Two bartenders for more than 51 guests
- One hour for setup before the event and one hour for cleanup after the event.
- An 18 percent gratuity is added to the final bill for all consumption and open bars.
Cash or Consumption Bar
Cash bar: Guests pay for their own drinks or run their
own bar tabs.
Consumption bar: One bar tab is tabulated and paid at the end of the event.

- The guaranteed minimum guest count and bar package selection are due at least one week before the event.
- We have the right to make any substitutions of comparable value on the bar packages.
- We also reserve the right to card and/or refuse service at any event. We reserve the right to close the bar service at any time during the event if circumstances dictate that it is necessary to do so. Our bartenders are trained on proper serving procedures.
