The Alice Campbell Alumni Center will feature a reception gallery, library, lounge, great room and banquet room. The University of Illinois Alumni Association's central administration and Urbana programming units will be housed there, as well. The Alumni Association currently occupies office space in the Illini Union, with limited parking space for visitors.
"We have this tremendous Alumni Association," Robert Campbell said at the fund-raising kickoff, "but it could be so much more if they had a really nice facility that everybody would be proud of. I think it would help them to go on to much greater glories."
